Supermarkets, me and my son

What do you do
When you take your kid
Through the aisles of your local supermarket?

When in sight are all the cute sweet things..
I'll never walk away from them again!

Attractive packages of sweet things that my son would readily trade for a square meal! Chocolates, marshmallows (Yes!) and what not! How about all this being put into 'grown-up only' section?
Enter only if your gastro-sense is managed by the the commonsense side of your brain?

So we have the negotiations, attempted bribing, talking sense, a food lecture but alas, we hit the spot and give in! (Middle-aged) Dad preserves dignity with a stern look, standing rather tall, pot belly hanging and n0t depicting a good picture of a health conscious being but still insisting in a senatorial voice: "those are not good for your teeth!"

So next stop - the toothbrush section and of course Pooh on the handle - the (king) B of sweet Honey! Good point being made here particularly with his grinning side-kick Tigger shown on the same handle, who is apparently on a permanent sugar high - how else can anyone bounce with the energy he seems to have?

My son and I - forever enthralled with the sweet aisle and more from our next visit!
